A SIMULATION-BASED WATER MANAGEMENT STRATEGY FOR LIFE-OF-MINE WATER PLANNING
نویسندگان
چکیده
Adequate water distribution in mines is crucial for both cooling and production. As deep-level become deeper, the requirements, subsequent dewatering also increase. Numerous studies on mine planning exist; however, these fail to recognise integrated nature of system, which comprises service supply system. These commonly neglect intensity, life-of-mine planning, use zero-waste baselines. In this study, a generic simulation-based management strategy proposed. The should 1) include systems, 2) account dynamic production plans, 3) allow modelling. Data from underground audits were used develop baseline model along with plans survey data. Applying case study resulted predictions that accurate within 5% future plans. Keywords Mine planning; Digital Twin; Simulation; Mining; Water reticulation; Dewatering; Life

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
A Stochastic Model for Water Resources Management
Irrigation water management is crucial for agricultural production and livelihood security in many regions and countries throughout the world. Over the past decades, controversial and conflictladen water-allocation issues among competing municipal, industrial and agricultural interests have raised increasing concerns. Particularly, growing population, varying natural conditions and shrinking wa...

ABSTRACT Background: Invasion by different kinds of ballast water microorganisms is one of the most important marine environment problems around the world therefore preventing the invasion of these unwanted and harmful stowaways is one of the main strategies of responsible agencies. Some of these methods such as ocean excha...
متن کاملWater quality management of heavily contaminated urban rivers using water quality analysis simulation program
Precisely management of water quality in urban rivers is of significant and water environmental capacity provide a useful tool. This study presented a water quality analysis simulation program model-based approach for dynamical load reduction in Ashi River, highly contaminated tributaries of Songhua River, China. The actual and surplus dynamic environmental capacity of CODCr and NH<s...
متن کاملCrop Planning and Water Management: A Survey
Agricultural systems pose many challenges and problems that can be formulated as optimization problems. Among these major challenges are crop selection and irrigation planning. That is, to decide on the proper set of crops to be cultivated and a proper irrigation scheme. Such decisions are made to achieve a certain objectives that typically include the maximization of net profit and/or the mini...
